A manual osteopathic treatment involves looking at the body as a whole and addressing issues from a global approach, instead of honing in just the area of pain, or complaint. The methods used are of a gentle but effective nature. A MO treatment involves assessing the body through palpation and correcting misalignments and relieving restrictions in the body's tissues. It can be preventative, as well as corrective, when the injury or dysfunction has not yet affected distant areas. Some clients report feeling relaxed during the treatment, whereas others feel tired following the appointment. This can be due to the body's self-healing, which can use some of your energy for the day.

The 30 minute appointment is the perfect amount of time for clients that have had a thorough assessment and treatment and are following up to see if all issues have resolved. Or to continue the treatment plan that was established.

The 60 minute appointment is ideal to get a complete assessment done. Corrections will be done as they are appropriate, while keeping in mind to not overwhelm the body.

The 90 minute appointment is great for the initial visit. It provides enough time for an assessment of the entire body, and time to treat the body more comprehensively. This is an ideal booking if you have multiple areas of complaint, or have a long standing issue that needs more attention to the dysfunctional area.
